Is working mainly on time banks for young people, time banks in adult learning, community and arts centres run on time, currency design typology and tool, international links to Sri Lanka.

DJapanese Ph.D. student who has been working on the research of complementary currency systems since 1999 and founder of ccPedia, a website similar to Wikipedia focused on this movement and of the Multilingual Complementary Currency Discussion Group, published two introductory books in Japanese as well as other articles. Currently working to network actors of this domain, especially those between different cultures, to help those who don’t share a language communicate each other.

Annette Riggs is a founder/board member and the Executive Director of Current Innovations (CI), a non-profit, public benefit corporation. She has over 20 years experience and in-depth knowledge of the infrastructure and processes of non-cash trade, complementary currency and exchange systems. She is an educator and conference speaker, including, Industrial Ecology 2000, Health and Harmony Festival, Planetwork 2003 and 2004, 2004 Green Festival and the 2005 and 2006 International Balle Conferences.
